Gallery "Sava Sumanovic" Sid was founded in 1952 thanks to Sava ' s mother Persida Sumanovic which was donated to the city Sid legacy of priceless artistic and material value. The gallery is located in a family house Sumanovic. Galleriy contains 417 of paintings, most of which make the oil paintings. Sumanovic painting represents the pinnacle of modern Serbian art of the first half of the twentieth century and his tragic death symbolizes the cursed fate of the artist and the man in the maelstrom of war.
